Description
Red Raspberry is a member of the rose family, with sweet and slightly tart berries that are in full blossom in the summer. Raspberries, also called Garden Raspberry, are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. The leaf, however, is also nutritious, a good source of B vitamins and minerals, including iron, magnesium, potassium, and calcium. Raspberry leaf is traditionally considered a herbal tonic for women when the leaves are used fresh or dried to prepare tea, served hot or cold.,
Raspberry leaves are traditionally used in tea blends, alone or in combination with other herbs, flowers, and fruit peels. They are also often tinctured in apple cider vinegar.
